A Maninka Muslim Woman Dressed for Prayer

1. We believe that both the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God, without error in the original scripture. (2Timothy 3:16, 2Peter 1:20,21)

2. We believe in one God who is eternally Self-Existing and Self-Sustaining in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 5:48, Matthew 28:19, Daniel 4:34)

3. We believe that Jesus Christ is true God, incarnated to be a true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins. Moreover, He rose from the dead and ascended into heaven. Finally, He will return on the last day to establish his eternal kingdom. (Philippians 2:6-11, Matthew 1:23, 1Peter 3:18, Hebrews 2:9, Romans 5:9, Acts 2:23-24, Hebrews 8:1, Matthew 26:64)

4. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells, empowers, instructs and guides believers to live godly lives and glorify God. (John 14:15-18, John 16:13, John 16:7-11, John 20:22, Acts 1:8)

5. We believe that man was originally created in the image and likeness of God but sinned by disobedience, incurring thereby both physical and spiritual death. (Genesis 1:27, Romans 3:23, Revelation 21:8, Revelation 21:1-4)

6. We believe that salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ alone for all men; and those who repent and believe in Him become the children of God. (John 14:6, Romans 6:23, Romans 10:9-10)

7. We believe that the true Church is composed of the children of God who are united together in the body of Christ of which He is the Head. (1Corinthians 12:27-28, Ephesians 2:21-22)

8. We believe that baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances to be observed by God’s children. (Matthew 28:19, Luke 22:19-20)

9. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead into the eternal kingdom for God’s children. (Romans 6:5, Philippians 3:10-11)

10. We believe that the great commission is going and making disciples of all nations. (Matthew 28:18-20, Matthew 24:14)

For with God, Nothing shall be impossible. Luke 1:37
