Watching a video with Kids...
"If you die, do I have to preach?"
He was only 6 years old when he asked this question.

Christa

Christa
| Jan. 25, 2005
Raising baby in tribal village was tough
But God's grace was sufficient for us.

First House

The First House in Sambouya

We started M4 missions in this straw house in 2004.
Sarah was able to endure the hardships
of pioneer mission work.
So much rain came inside,
so we pitched a tent inside of the house for 6 months.

Noah Baptism

The First Baptism in Sambouya Village

Noah was the first convert to receive Jesus Christ
into his life.

We are M4 missionaries in Manya village to make disciplers and plant our second tribal church.

Sarah grew up in Germany and I grew up in California, USA. We began God¡¯s missions in 1993 and met each other in Gambia. God brought us together in the mission field for his purpose.

¡°Would you work with me as we live in a mud house for the rest of your life?¡± My marriage proposal went something like that. Sarah simply nodded her head to acknowledge her ¡°yes!" We got married in 1998.

In 1994, God gave me a vision to establish a boarding school from an Elementary school to College. The vision continually grew to establishing M4 Mission Training Centers in Africa, Asia and Middle East for raising 1581 M4 Missionaries for the total number of unreached tribes around the world.

We have made our home in Sambouya village in Guinea where TM Africa center was established in September of 2004 as we opened a boarding school - Teachus Mission International Christian Academy (TMICA).

Second Tribal Church Planting continues in Manya village. One Saturday evening, I told Sarah,¡°I will go to Manya village on Monday to explore the village and the people. We both felt that God was leading us to our second church planting. Next day, our neighbor Mr. Irondell came to Sunday worship which he seldom does. During fellowship time, he abruptly told me, ¡±People in Manya would like to hear the gospel. Can you send missionaries there?¡± I was pleasantly surprised by his words. On Monday, Mr. Irondell and I visited the village and found out that the villagers really want us to come. So we quickly obeyed God¡¯s leading and started to construct our new home.

In October of 2007, we moved into our new home in Manya and began Sunday worship service from January 2008.

My favorite verse of the bible is John 14:12-14.
¡°I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me
will do what I have been doing.
He will do even greater things than these,
because I am going to the Father.
And I will do whatever you ask in my name,
so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.
You may ask me for anything in my name,
and I will do it.¡±

My identity is a history maker
because I believe in Christ¡¦

My purpose is making disciplers like Jesus
- doing what he has done even greater things¡¦

My strategy is prayer
- asking anything in Jesus Name¡¦

Knowing that Jesus will accomplish what He has begun
- I WILL DO IT¡¦

How do you make disciples? Question from Chelsea in 2007... Chelsea asked me out of blue, ¡°How do you make a disciple?¡± I was stunned by the question because she was only 8 years old. I am glad that she is listening to my sermons even though sometimes she doesn¡¯t seem to pay attention. (from my journal)
